Brio Farms was founded in 1984 by
Tim Carey and
Kyle Karnosh,
former Hewlett Packard employees,
with the goal
of providing quality warmblood sporthorses at
affordable prices. Our breeding program specializes
in producing horses with great dispositions and trainability
as well as natural talent for dressage, jumping and eventing.
Since we strongly believe that the mind of a horse is
its greatest asset, our work doesn't stop when the breeding
is done. We limit our foal crop to a small number to insure
that each foal gets the individual attention that we believe
makes a better riding horse. All of our foals are extensively
imprinted and handled during their first months of life.
As a result, our horses are known for people friendly
attitudes that make them a part of the family.

to any horses you find of interest. We're conveniently located
in Gilroy, just 30 minutes south of San Jose and within short drives
to other warmblood breeders here on the Central California Coast.
